6. Uniqueness
The Talent Development Program offers a unique chance to access, engage, target, connect and recruit some of the valuable
talents within Ireland and has an overall theme of developing business and employable skills.
Content is oriented on building employable skills, for example: Global Diversity, Team Management, Functional Skills, Self-
Awareness, Organizational Sensitivity and Pro-activity.
AIESEC in Ireland works with the representatives of our main collaborators to agree upon the content and themes of each event.
The trainings will be delivered for 200 students in their 3nd and 4rd year of study.
Our second event is Leadership Tournament and it is a project designed to develop students‟ employable skills and business
abilities by combining business education, training, teamwork and competition in to an action-packed day.
The Participants are pre-selected students who:
Have more than one month‟s experience leading teams and managing projects
We are looking for young people who are proactive, responsible, open minded, flexible and outgoing
Are actively interested in driving their own learning about business and most desired skills.
Are passionate about getting involved in their community and with future employers;

Developing Leaders Days
November 2010, Dublin
A “Developing Leaders Day” is an event where top companies engage youth leadership bodies from 5 main universities in Dublin.
The purpose of „DLDs‟ is to develop students‟ employable skills.
Companies will interact with these individuals by running skills sessions during the day; in doing so
they will have access to a highly talented pipeline of future employees and managers.
Each company can pick the number of universities they would like to target. Training agenda is designed
together with the partner companies. Training time, delivery method and logistical details will be
established together with each company.
What is the participants’ profile?
Students who have more than one month‟s experience leading teams and/or managing projects are
eligible. Students in final and penultimate years of study will have priority during selection. 40 – 60
students will be accepted for each DLD.
What are the themes/topics of sessions held during the DLD?
AIESEC Ireland will work directly with companies to agree upon the content and delivery of each DLD.

Following the DLD and Leadership Tournament is the final AIESEC event from Talent Development Program: Employers Showcase.
This event has been designed to foster relationships between companies and top students who have already participated in an
AIESEC event.
Companies will have the opportunity to showcase upcoming and current employment opportunities in an intimate and closed
session space. Companies will have 30 minutes to 1 hour to present their job offers, internships programs, graduates programs,
benefits and promoting opportunities inside the organization. Throughout the day participants will rotate around these seminars.
Following the event there will be a cocktail networking evening.
When and where will the event be held?
Employers Showcase will take place in the first week of April at a prestigious
venue in Dublin‟s city centre.
Who is eligible to participate?
All the young people which participated in DLD and Leadership Tournament
events, AIESEC members and AIESEC Alumni.
