In order to book your wedding, we recommend you to follow the next steps:

1. Please choose the date you would like for your wedding.
2. Check the availability with the Wedding Coordinator by e-mail to loscabos.weddings@barcelo.com or loscabos.bodas@barcelo.com (Please make
sure to mention:
* Wedding date and time
* Type of wedding (Legal or Non-legal)
* Name and last name of Bride and Groom.
* Request our Wedding package.
* Number of wedding guests (please mention if they will book though a travel agency or let us know if you need room rates as well)
* Mention name of the Hotel where the Bride and Groom will be staying at (if you are not staying at Barceló Los Cabos Palace Deluxe)
If the date is available, we will put your wedding date ON HOLD. (Meaning that the date and hour is just ON HOLD, NOT CONFIRMED)
3. Once you have a date on hold for the wedding, we will establish timings to get organized. This will include a Contract with the Wedding Package
information and added values costs, according to your requirements. Timing for the deposit will be also sent to you in the Contract.
Once we have all your travel information, your assigned wedding coordinator will confirm your date.
Please take into consideration that your Wedding Contract will contain the name of the package that you want. The wedding date will be confirmed and
guaranteed once the resort receives 35% of the total wedding revenue.
1) Legal Weddings
It is a Legal Ceremony with a Justice of Peace from the city Hall. Date and the time are subject to availability, and it is the City Hall who will confirm it.
Legal Weddings do not take place on Saturdays, Sundays or Public Holidays.
The Ceremony will be held in Spanish; in this case a wedding coordinator will translate it into English.

2) Un-Official, Symbolic Weddings
It is an un-official Ceremony with a Non denominational Minister or a Justice of Peace. They can be held at any date and time except Sundays or Public
Holidays.
The Ceremony can be held in Spanish or English.
As part of these wedding packages, there is a $350 USD fee (to pay the Non denominational Minister or- Justice of Peace) which you will have to give
in cash to the Wedding Coordinator. Remember some packages such as the Coconut Paradise do not include this fee.

Important Facts


3) Catholic Weddings
Catholic Weddings are available Monday through Saturday (except Sunday), dates and times are subject to the confirmation of the Priest.
Catholic ceremonies must be held at the Church downtown San Jose. Other locations are not permitted by the Catholic Church in Mexico.
Payment will be done in cash, credit card or traveler checks at the Hotel Front Desk, after the Bride & Groom have met with their Wedding
Coordinator.

6. Your Wedding Coordinator will send you a Guest List Format, which is necessary for you to fill in and e-mail to us at least 30 days prior to the
wedding date.
The Guest List must contain the following information:
a. Title
b. Full Name & Last Names
c. Specify if the guest is an adult or a child. In case of children, please specify their age.
d. Arrival & Departure Date
e. Please specify if there is any special request for any guest. *Please notice that special requests are subject to availability
f. Please specify which Tour Operator each guest is traveling with.

1.- Which should be my first step to start planning my Dreamed Wedding?
Contact Barceló Los Cabos Palace Deluxe wedding department and request this Wedding binder so that you can have complete details, costs,
ceremony areas information, reception venues, extra elements pricing, etc.

2.-Who should I send my information to once I know which package I want?

3.- Will my wedding date be guaranteed once I send a request?
No, the wedding planners will take your desired wedding date into consideration and will save the date for you, if the date is available. The date will be
on hold for 15 days. Between the moment we put your date on hold and before we release your desire wedding date you must contact the wedding
planner again in order to let her know which package you will contract.

4.- Should I pay something in advance?
Yes, once you receive your Wedding contract, you will also receive an authorization form which you should send back to your wedding coordinator
along with your ID and Credit Card from both sides (both ID and CC should have the same signature). Once your wedding planner confirms in written
that she has charged 35% of the total wedding revenue to your credit card, your wedding date will be guaranteed.
In your wedding contract the payments schedule will be specified. The wedding revenue should be paid in full one month prior to the event. However
extras can be purchased and charged to your room.

7.- When will be a good time to request my flowers?
Consider at least 15 days to 3 weeks prior to your arrival date for seasonal flowers

8.-Can I change any of the elements of the packages?
No, the packages are no subject to changes, we can customize your wedding event and have a proposal sent to you, however our wedding packages
are not subject to changes. Shall you require any change, there will be an additional fee.

9.- Can I choose a package and change the menu ?
No, each package has its own wedding menu. Any change will be subject to an additional fee.

10.- Is the Suite upgrade part of my wedding package?
When contracting Coconut Paradise, Mint Breeze and Blueberry Dream packages, bride and groom will be upgraded to the following suite category to
the one paid.
When contracting the Strawberry Passion package, bride and groom will be upgraded to a Swim up Suite or if available to a Honeymoon Suite
When contracting the Tangerine and Chocolate packages, bride and groom will be upgraded to a Honeymoon Suite

11.- Can I send boxes to the hotel from USA or Canada?
Our recommendation is to use the services of a broker. Ask your wedding planner for broker information

12.- Can I upgrade my bouquet?
Yes, just contact your wedding planner for exact pricing

13.- Can I pay in cash with foreign currency once I am in the resort?
Goverment regulations allow any visitor to pay a maximum amount of 300 us per day. Our recommendation will be to pay with your credit card or via
wire transfer

14.-Can I invite external visitors to my wedding event?
Yes, they must pay a Day pass with a cost of $80 us per adult and $40 us per children (4 – 12 years old) plus the cost of extra person according to your
wedding package

15.- Can I rent one of the hotel´s restaurants to celebrate my wedding?
Yes, this is subject to an additional fee and availability from the hotel

16.- Can I have a rehearsal dinner with all my wedding attendees?
Yes, regulations are as follows:
2 to 14 people, we will make the reservation and the guests will be able to order from the restaurant´s menu, no extra charge will apply
15 – 25 people, we will make the reservation and the guests will enjoy of a set up menu, a $15 us fee per person will apply
Above 30 people, we must verify restaurants capacity, extra set up cost or venue rental will apply. Dinner timing and menu to be verified with our
Foods and Beverages Director according to availability.

17.- Can I tip the waiters or any staff member?
Our packages include the service charge, however you are free to tip any member of our staff if they provided you and your wedding attendees with an
extraordinary service.

18.- Can I choose a package with reception on a banquet room and request poolside or beach event?
No, reception areas will be confirmed according to our wedding packages. You can always request a customized wedding or pay set up fee per person
to change the reception location

19.- Until what time can our wedding party last?
Music in opened areas should be over by 11:00 pm
