got there by aligning with and accelerating
tectonic cultural shifts, not by tweaking sales
one at a time.â â Seth Godin
10. What Is Culture?
Culture is the collective value system of an organization, which
principally drives its behavior.
What Culture Is Not?

an organization.

Culture drives behavior.
In fact, culture is the single most powerful thing we can focus on
to succeed in product development.
Culture has more to do with innovation, change, and creativity
than compensation systems, title, benefits, workspace, or
management style, etc..
Culture breaths life into an organization.
Culture defines who we are.

14. Culture Begins At The Top?
If culture change is not fully supported at the highest levels it
becomes inauthentic.
If rank and file employees do not feel their cultural aspirations are
supported by leadership, they will not feel engaged with their
work, and nor will they strive for higher achievement.
Leadership has the ability to set an example for change, but their
example will only be as effective as their efforts are authentic.

15. "Times change but principles do not. Times change but lands do
not. Times change but our culture and our language remain the
same. And that's what you have to keep intact. It's not what you
wear - it's what's in your heart.â -- Oren Lyons, Onondaga
