St. Matthew Academy students designed an app called "Promise Keeper" to help parents remember promises made to their children in order to improve motivation, behavior, and school grades. Research found a similar Chinese app with over 100,000 downloads, but no equivalent English app existed. The students presented their app design and were featured by the BBC and in a Skype call with motivational speaker Bob Shukai, hoping the app would ensure promises are never forgotten.
