Google provides workplace electric vehicle charging to benefit employees, support sustainability goals, and meet building certification requirements. Key considerations for implementation included charging levels, network connectivity, user features, access control, energy usage, maintenance, and infrastructure deployment. Google's Mountain View campus currently has 227 Level 2 stations and 160 Level 1 outlets across 34 buildings, with additional locations having stations. Usage statistics show over 200 employee plug-in vehicles charge regularly, resulting in 44,000 sessions, 255 megawatt-hours used, and 365 tons of greenhouse gases saved.
