We started with 5 people in a tiny row of storage
units with a small office. We were here before

3. SCOTT, OUR STEERING PRO
• Scott is our resident all around car guy. He holds a
degree in automotive technology and is a former
technician at a Ford dealership. He is our steering guru!
Due to his textbook style definitions, his own previous
experiences, and his attention to detail, around the
office we just call him Scottopedia. You've got a
question, he's got an answer.
• Being one of the longest tenured members of the
BuyAutoParts team Scott has seen it all. If you have a
problem with a part he will help find the root of the
problem. Bottom line he’ll get you back on the road.
Also an avid fan of classic cars and restoration, Scott is
always willing and capable of helping all kinds of
customers.
• Scott is also the owner/ captain of an endurance road
racing team. Each race is 14 - 24 hours in a 25 year old
BMW. He enjoys working on his car with his crew and
getting out for as many races as possible. Between his
former tech experience and his racing team, Scott has
the hands on knowledge of what parts fail and how to
diagnose and replace them.

4. ERIC, OUR TURBO AND CUSTOMER
SERVICE PRO
• Before BuyAutoParts, Eric was an avid baseball player in high school
and college. The sport taught him valuable lessons like teamwork and
patience which he incorporates on the sales floor daily. He’s been fine-
tuning his automotive knowledge, while mastering his customer
service and sales skills, since his teens. Several years ago it became
apparent to Eric that he should pursue a career in the auto industry
because of his passion for cars.
• He's an expert when it comes to turbochargers for both foreign and
domestic applications. If you need help diagnosing a failed turbo, Eric
is your man. He'll help you figure out the problem and the best course
of action over the phone, fast. It's a learned skill where Eric excels and
continues to work at his craft.
• Eric has been with BuyAutoParts for four years and has attained a
wealth of knowledge through continuous training both in customer
service and sales. He's watched the inventory grow from just steering
racks and a/c compressors to expanding product lines to include
shocks, turbochargers, navigation units and much more!
• In his free time, you can find Eric hacking it away on the golf course, at
the beach with his dog Nixon, cheering on The Dallas Cowboys, or
enjoying a refreshing pint from one of San Diego’s many renowned
craft breweries. He is always finding ways to help people out and
strives to make every customer happy no matter what; and that is

5. BILL, OUR REPAIR KITS AND SALES PRO
• Meet Bill. He manages our sales team. Bill has been honing
his sales and customer service expertise ever since he was
selling concessions outside Veterans Stadium in Philly as a
kid. Rain, sleet, or snow, Bill provided the kind souls of
Philadelphia with Cheesesteaks and a dose of honesty.
• Bill found his way out west and landed here at
BuyAutoParts. With his people person savvy he quickly
moved up the ranks and became manager. He is a great
teacher and continues to blaze a positive trail in our sales
department. You may need several parts to do the job
right, and he’ll get you everything you need while saving
you money in the process. Be sure to ask him about our

• When Bill's not at work, you can usually find him yelling at
the Eagles on his TV. Bill is an avid sports enthusiast and
always has the latest scoop in sporting news. His hobbies
include golf, spending time with family, and taking care of
his exotic fish.

6. JAVIER, OUR ORDER SUPPORT &
LOGISTICS PRO
• Javier reviews all of the orders that customers place on our
site. He goes through every order individually and makes
sure each order is processed appropriately. He also plays a
major role in our parts and processes training program for
all of our new hires as we continue to grow.
• In Javier’s time at BuyAutoParts he has become the
authority for any order that is placed on our web site. He
has figured out how the "interwebs" work and how
payments are processed with the banks. You click "buy",
he ensures smooth and efficient handling of your order
from there.
• In addition to being our Order Support & Logistics Pro,
Javier is also the Golf Pro at BuyAutoParts. He’s a San
Diego native that has played over 60 of the courses in the
county. In his free time, you can find Javier at Torrey Pines

7. JONATHAN, OUR PARTS PRO
• One of our ASE Certified Mechanics, Jonathan is
here to help you get your car back on the road
quickly. He has studied automotive systems for
10+ years and applies his knowledge to every
problem someone has in their car.
• Jonathan has made a huge impact here at
BuyAutoParts. Since coming on board he has
been helping customers diagnose tough
problems over the phone, selling hard to find
parts, and spreading his knowledge among the
staff.
• In his free time Jonathan likes to cruise on his
motorcycle, cheer for the LA Lakers and of
course, work on cars.

8. CARLOS, OUR A/C PRO
• Carlos got his start as a grunt in the auto industry, just
working on cars getting his hands dirty. His charisma and
ability to diagnose and repair problems quickly earned him
a role as a service writer, and eventually the manager of a
shop in Southern California.
• BuyAutoParts recognizes the talent that Carlos posesses
and got him involved in helping customers get what they
need the first time. He'll always get you the right part and
has an answer for every question thrown his way. Known
to be a cool guy he knows A/C in and out, and like all of
our pros he’s here to answer any question you may have.
• Carlos enjoys spending time with family, playing sports,
and working on his imports. He admires these words by
