1. Kirsten Michelle
Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am in a thousand winds that blow,
Eby
I am the softly falling snow.
I am the gentle showers of rain,
I am the fields of ripening grain.
I am in the morning hush,
I am in the graceful rush
Of beautiful birds in circling flight,
I am the star shine of the night.
I am in the flowers that bloom,
I am in a quiet room.
I am in the birds that sing,
I am in each lovely thing.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there. I did not die. 3-29-86

2. To the living, I am gone
To the sorrowful, I will never return
To the angry, I was cheated
But to the happy, I am at peace
And to the faithful, I have never left

4. You can close your eyes and pray that she
will come back
Or you can open your eyes and see all that
she has left
Your heart can be empty because you can't
see her
Or you can be full of the love that you
shared
You can turn your back on tomorrow and
live yesterday
Or you can be happy for tomorrow
because of yesterday
You can remember her and only that she is
gone
Or you can cherish her memory and let it
live on
You can cry and close your mind, be
empty and turn your back
Or you can do what she would want:
smile, open your eyes, love and go on.
6. They say I’ll be OK.
But I’m not going to… EVER GET OVER
YOU.
7. If tears could build a stairway,
and memories a lane.
I would walk right up to Heaven
and bring you back again.
8. Lord, as we mourn the sudden death of
Kirsten, show us the immense power of
Your goodness and strengthen our belief
that she has entered into Your Presence.
Amen.
10. God saw you getting tired
and a cure was not to be
so he put his arms around you
and whispered,
"Come to Me"
With tearful eyes we watched you
and saw you pass away
and although we love you dearly
we could not make you stay.
A Golden heart stopped beating
hard working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best
