1. SCORE Launches New Website for SE Wis. Branch
Free business mentoring and consulting company launches new website
Milwaukee, Wis.: SCORE (Service Corps for Retired Executives) recently launched a new
website for its south-east Wis. branch promoting its free consulting, planning and mentoring
services for small businesses. The non-profit, volunteer-based company began its south-east Wis.
branch in 1965 with the goal of helping small businesses succeed by offering free training and
mentoring services, as well as several low cost business seminars. The need for a fresh website
presented itself recently. “The redesign was an outgrowth of our SEO efforts and the planning
for the upcoming blog.” says Don Reynolds, a member of SCORE’s marketing team. “After
eight years with the existing website design, the Technology Team felt the existing design was
stale and somewhat out-of-date.”
The company’s new professional and navigable website, designed by SEO, LLC, features free
downloadable business templates, information on various low-cost business seminars and videos
on small business start-up and loans, as well as contact information for free consultation and
mentoring. The design is modern and attractive for new website visitors and current small
business clients.
Reynolds states that SCORE hopes that the redesigned website will grow its influence on small
businesses and entrepreneurs as the company seeks new clients and new mentors. SCORE has a
passion for small businesses and business owners. The mentors and team members at SCORE
desire to see the economy expand through the growth and prosperity of these small businesses.
