Episcopal Church Building Fund Announces Buildings For a New
Tomorrow in Raleigh, NC.
January 15, 2015
Richmond, VA- The Episcopal Church Building Fund (ECBF) has announced that its
Buildings For a New Tomorrow (BFNT) Symposium will take place April 13-15, in
Raleigh, NC. The event is described as a “mind-altering symposium to change the way
you use your church and grounds.”
Julie Groom, President of the Episcopal Church Building Fund said, “With the trend of
four to five churches closing each month for the past decade due to financial distress, it is
critical to take action and change this trajectory. BFNT is designed to bring early
adopters together to share knowledge and stimulate new ideas for action.”
This year’s event will include Bishop Michael Curry, the 11th Bishop of the Episcopal
Diocese of North Carolina; the Rt. Rev. Greg Rickel, the 8th Bishop of the Diocese of
Olympia; and key-note speaker Marlon Hall of the Awakenings Movement in Austin,
TX. BFNT will include workshops speakers and other creative avenues to help rethink
how to use churches and church grounds. Click here for videos from last year’s BFNT
and the registration form for 2015!
