- The digestive tract is a muscular tube coupled with a whole host of primary and secondary organs (i.e. liver/pancreas) as well.
- Digestion actually begins with the first thought of food or smell of food! This stimulates the stomach to immediately produce HCL to be ready for the food that is coming.
- Picture of digestive system. Esophagus, stomach, small intestines, large intestines. Liver, pancreas, gallbladder. Stomach churns food into âchymeâ using HCL.
