14. Structure: Stetson
• We defined what Stetson focused
on in our community
• We broke off into Focus teams of
up to 10 students
• Each focus team is responsible for:
• 1 Social Event
• 1 Workshop
• Contacting Faculty and Community
Partners
• 1 Service Event
• Resource Management
15. Planning: Stetson
• Created a skeleton for the conference
• Figured out how many social events,
service events, and what down time
there would be
• Brainstormed ways to keep attendees
engaged throughout the conference
• Set weekly focus group meetings and
had every other all call dedicated to
SLI planning
• Had an action plan ready as we got
closer to the date of the conference
16. Wiki: Stetson
• Each team was responsible
for keeping their section in
the wiki up to date
• Show and tell during “All
Call” Meetings
• Using it as communication
tool for all focus groups
• We created a planning wiki
and a resource wiki for
attendees HTTP://
