3. Motor Model Tab Select a model from the library Motor characteristic properties Simulated Battery and ESC values can be changed. Performance summary Performance Graph
5. Dyno Tab - Step 1 Load a comma separated value (.csv) Data file Raw file contents displayed. Select the header row and the first Data Row Import the file A MOTOR DYNO ANALYSIS IS COMPLETED IN FOUR STEPS
6. Dyno Tab - Step 2 Select header columns that contain Time, RPM, Voltage and Current data. Imported data is displayed. Raw RPM versus time data is graphed. Click and drag on the graph to select data range for analysis
7. Dyno Tab – Step 3 Enter Flywheel Inertia and Data Smoothing Factor The selected data range for analysis is now displayed and can be adjusted if needed. Click to perform analysis
8. Dyno Tab – Step 4 Adjust Smoothing Factor if required Graph now displays Motor Power and Torque versus RPM
9. Build Model Tab – Step 1 Once a Dyno analysis has been completed you can build a motor model to use in simulations Dyno data is displayed for reference
10. Build Model Tab – Step 2 By adjusting the motor property sliders a close match with the Dyno Data can be achieved. When you are happy with the model add it to the library.
