Strengths:
People skills: I enjoy dealingwith people and am a friendly, warm and thoughtful person with a good sense of humour.
Effective communication: Assessing situations, personalities and realistic deliverables when dealing with people is
essential. If people are encouraged and guided with full briefings and trust, they will perform wel l, cultivating working
relationships and productivity.
Advance Continuous Improvement Processes:
“Could we improve this” is better than saying “this is going to be too much work to fix”.
Such a simple and effective practice relieves stress, creates motivation and determination and increases productivity.
Leadership Skills: Staff members who have great ideas and areprepared to put them forward with drivein a professional
and timely manner are success oriented and their outcomes build business excellence.
Team Player : Silos in the workplace are detrimental and can lead to high turnover of staff, depression and loss of
motivation. Below the linebehaviour is not team oriented. When a team is workingwell together, the sky is the limit.
Sharing ideas, intelligence and potential outcomes in meetings and workshops creates a strong group who want to
succeed.
Hardworking; Working hard drives dedication and commitment as strengths and the sense of achievement from beinga
hard worker is very satisfying. Leading by example as a hard worker creates inspired followers. Also, not askinga staff
member to do anything you wouldn’t do yourself provides an equal and respectful workplace.
Weaknesses: Working long hours (significantly improved over last 6 months as previous experience with this lifestyle
led to exhaustion) & have been known to take on extra work with the view of: “by the time I delegated the task,I could
have done it” – this is not true and work should be delegated properly so staff learn and take ownership of tasks. Work
life balance now in place.
