I was introduced to Sketchnoting at UX Australia. This presentation using pptPlex is about my journey, and how it has helped me. Thanks of course must go to people like Matt Balara, Dan Roam, and those who kindly upload their sketchnotes to the internet for others to view.

  • Hi Geoff,
Yeh the conversion of a PPTPlex deck to something for slideshare/PDF etc is always a bit of a challenge. I end up taking screen captures of the PPTPlex landing pages and then creating a new slide.

Sketching on the iPad i've found difficult. It is ok for diagrams or notes (eg with a Pogo Stylus), but found that it is too slow, and not responsive enough for sketchnoting. It tended to obstruct my flow.

  • Nice work Bryn! I went looking for examples of how people use PPTPLEX, and found a great way to output as a pdf, and great content too,

Have you tried sketching on an ipad or other tablet 'on the fly'?
