2. Problem Statement
• Design and Deployment of Wireless Surveillance system for
monitoring Remote perimeters of TEA estates in OOTY and
other places.
• Main objective is to monitor the movement of animals and
other kinds of intrusions through out the perimeter and
reporting the same in real time to the concerned authorities.
• The idea is to incorporate IP camera based surveillance
system which monitors the activity of perimeters at equal
distances of 300 meters on the perimeter transferring the the
video in real time to a Network video monitoring and
Recording Software for analysis and reporting.
3. Contents of the presentation
• Details of various Solutions from BLAZE Automation.
> Basic Solution with External Power Supply
> Advanced solution with Solar Power Supply
Please let us know your interest after understand the different
proposed solutions.
4. Basic Solution
Objectives and requirements:
a. Provide Wireless Access points at each selected perimeter point to which a
stand alone camera with night vision will be attached. This video will be relayed
through the WAP to a central monitoring station / central station corresponding
to that TEA estate where the manager / Surveyor can view the video in the PC
deployed over there.
b. The following are the equipment required at each selected perimeter point for
relaying the video to the Central station / Unit .
1. IP Camera with night vision capability (1 in number) : There are various
models depending on your requirement.
2. WAP equipment with inbuilt directional patch antenna and other required
accessories. Please refer the quotation for your reference
(singareni_CCTV_basicquote.pdf).
3. Power supply unit , surge suppressor , Lightening protector etc…
Each 300 meters of the perimeter requires this setup. And for a 3 km perimeter
around 10 such setups are required.
5. Basic Solution (contd…)
c. Equipment required at the central unit :
1. WAP equipment with inbuilt directional patch antenna and other
required accessories.
2. Power supply unit , surge suppressor , Lightening protector etc…
6. Basic Solution – Infrastructure at each perimeter point

8. Advanced Solution
Objectives and requirements:
a. This is nothing but basic solution + solar power pack for 24/7 power backup.
This constitutes a solar power pack at each perimeter point which can provide
a power backup for 3 days autonomy. The PV panel and the battery
components will be chosen accordingly. Also this can be supplemented with AC
mains which can help in the situation of continuous power failure for three
days in rainy season especially.
b. Provide Wireless Access points at each perimeter point to which a stand alone
camera with night vision will be attached. This video will be relayed through
the WAP to a bunker monitoring station / central station corresponding to that
estate where the manager / Surveyor can view the video in the PC deployed
over there.
c. The following are the equipment required at each perimeter point for relaying
the video to the Central station / Unit corresponding to that bunker.

models depending on your requirement.
