Our 5 Favourite AW14 Fashion
Trends
Women’s Autumn Winter 2014 Colour Trends
• Neutral, Earthy, Blue and Red Tones
• Designers – Burberry, Oscar de la Renta & Richard Nicoll
• Burberry led the way with earthy tones and neutral colours, with cosy draped shawls, slung casually across the
body in the AW catwalk show. DAKS opted for a more structured and formal approach, staying true to their
tailored ready to wear heritage.
• Reds and blues also deserve a mention and featured in the Richard Nicoll, Oscar de la Renta collections. The
designers have colour-blocked their looks, grouping different shades of blues and reds in one outfit.

• On trend accessories in a neutral colour palette with touches of red and navy that are so this season.

• Checks plaids and tartans have found particular favour with key designers this season. Small checks, big checks,
block checks, Prince of Wales checks and houndstooth checks abound in monotones.
• Many womenswear designers are contrasting the symmetry of the checked fabrics with loose flowing cuts.
