What Does the ThePIP Do ?
ThePIP is designed to prevent electrical fire
caused by High Resistant Connections
(HRC) , It is a non-resettable thermal
switch designed to activate at a given
temperature: 85c+/- 5°.
Your socket or switch could be on fire and
the RCCD or MCB does not detect this until
there is a fault condition . ThePIP creates
this fault once the temperature exceeds
85c+/- 5° before its too late
ThePIP is available in 3 variants:
1) 0 voltage version – used for ‘switching’
2) 120 voltage version – only used with
RCDs
3) 240 voltage version – only used with
RCDs
It's a simple affordable fit and forget
solution that can save a life or property
from the effects of overheating
