social tendency. In the whole
novel Austen uses marriage as
a plot and theme of the novel.
• Here we can see marriage as a
purely economic exercise and
also marriage for love.

3. • The novel is full of many love stories
and marriage. They make the plot as
well as bring romantic atmosphere.
