As Bánh mỳ, Xôi xéo is also a common breakfast for Hanoi people, especially students because they are very convenient and
cheap. Xôi means steamed sticky rice. There are many kinds of Xôi but Xôi xéo is more popular than all. It is not only tasty but also
cheap so it is usually sold at places close to schools or offices, companies, factories where many people go to work. And it is only

3. Bánh cuốn
Bánh cuốn is one of favorite breakfast items in Hanoi and essential to any list of dishes must-try in Hanoi, Vietnam, even the
Vietnamese tourist. By itself, the pale white rice batter is silky smooth and soft but otherwise rather bland. Flavor and texture come
from a filling of seasoned ground pork, mushrooms, and shallots. The rice noodle roll is served with a separate bowl of clear amber
dipping sauce (nước chấm), which is essentially fish sauce. Vietnamese usually use fish sauce ( nước mắm) in their meals.
