Are you trying to import PubMed citations into RefWorks? Use RefGrab-It and the process is simple. Here's how to do it.

2. What is RefGrab-It? RefGrab-It is a feature in RefWorksthat captures bibliographic information from a web page.It provides a very simple way to export citations from PubMed to RefWorks. RefGrab-It is available in two versions -- a bookmarklet that works with either Internet Explorer or Firefox and downloadable plug-ins for Internet Explorer and Firefox. First, you need to download RefGrab-It. Don’t worry. It’s a simple process. Here’s how you do it:

7. Now, do your PubMed search. As an example, I’ve done a search for ice cream headache I can easily export all 24 results to RefWorks using RefGrab-It.

9. Now, open RefGrab-It. Be patient while it recognizes all the citations.

10. Now, open RefGrab-It. To export the citations to RefWorks, simply check this box:

11. Your RefWorks account will open and presto-change-o! There are the 24 citations.

12. Or, use the Clipboard to collect your citations of interest. When you’re finished, access the clipboard and open RefGrab-it.
