4. FILM AND LITERATURE
EVENINGS
To promote the project within local communities, the partner schools organized special events. These we-
re ‘Film and Literature Evenings’. During the events, the students presented reviews of their favourite
fantastic films and fantasy books. There was a projection of the best movies, we also watched X-files mo-
vies created by the international groups. There were literary workshops during which, we read and di-
scussed parts of chosen fantasy literature. We presented our paranormal stories, too. The Polish students
prepared a performance ‘Forefathers’ Eve Part2’ by Adam Mickiewicz for parents and invited guests
which was also watched in Spain and Germany. On the 23rd April, as a part of The Book's Day Celebra-
tion, the Spanish students presented the play ‘Romeo and Juliet’ by the theatre writer Aurelio Javier Fer-
nández García" . One of the Spanish students- Tomás inteviwed the writer. He is a Literature teacher of
the Spanish highschool, works in Canarian Education Government as well as writes and perfoms theatre
plays with the Spanish students, helping them in the project.
