1. ach year, the Pro-Am invites a featured
PGA, LPGA, or golf celebrity to play
one hole with our golfers and entertain
them with their talents and stories. In addition,
we invite 24 of the best Wisconsin PGA
Pros to play 18 holes with our foursomes- an
opportunity to mingle with the stateâs finest
golfers and maybe pick up a few tips from
players who make their living from golf.
Jim Gallagher, Jr.
PGA Champions Tour Player
Jim Gallagher, Jr. is one of the PGAâs most
popular golfers, with a family tree that is filled
with professional golf talent, including his father,
brother, sister and wife. Jim, who now lives in
Mississippi, has been on the PGA tour for 30
years and in the winnerâs circle seven times,
including the Greater Milwaukee Open. His
PGA tour winnings total more than $6 million.
Jim was a member of the victorious 1993 Ryder
Cup that took place in England (with Tom
Watson as captain) and his team also played
to victory in the 1994 Presidentâs Cup. At the
age of 52, he is currently competing on the
Championâs Tour where he joins some of golfâs
greatest competitors.

2. n the eventâs 27-year history, a total of more
than $1.7 million has been donated to Beloit
Health System for vital equipment, technology
and services. 2013 Proceeds go to the new
Cancer Center.
Construction has started for Beloit
Health Systemâs new $11.6 million
Cancer Center that will continue Beloitâs
existing relationship with the UW
Carbone Cancer Center in Madison.
The new comprehensive Cancer Center
will open in December and be located on
a five-acre parcel of land on the corner of
Milwaukee Road and Lee Lane.
The Cancer Center will serve cancer patients
in the broad region of Rock and Walworth
Counties, along with northern Illinois. The Center
will expand and improve our cancer treatment
options and will be equipped with state-of-the-
art cancer fighting technology. About 50% of the
patients we serve in this area need both radiation
and chemotherapy, and this new center will offer
both in one location.
he Pro-Am is Beloit Health System
Foundationâs largest annual fundraiser. It
also enjoys the reputation of being one of
Wisconsinâs first and finest golf fundraising events.
