1. Education is not just the word inside GalgotiasUniversity. Here, it’s a whole bunch of experience, more
than class room studies, every week there are so many things in store for the Galgotians like Debate,
discussion, Common classes, presentation, and workshops.9th may 2012 Galgotias management club
organized a workshop on E-commerce and its impact in Modern Business. All the management members
were present for the occasion. The chief guests were Mr. Debarshi Mukherjee and Nidhi ma’am From
Galgotias Business School. The workshop started after lunch in seminar hall, by the introductory speech
delivered by Mrs. Vinnie mathur, Head of the department Students affair Galgotias Educational
institution. The workshop went on for about two hours with active participation from the club members
and real life experiences shared by both the speakers. Students came to know about certain statistics
through slide show and hand notes provided to them. The topic was chosen anonymously by the
students as E-commerce is the next big thing in Indian business perspective with rapidly increasing
popularity among organizations. The event ended with a formal question answer round where many
students came up with their queries. Both the faculties gave positive feedback and promised to come
back again to our campus again.Students also found it helpful and engaging.
