4. Barry Thaompson has a civil engineering diploma from Ryerson University and is a
Certified Engineering Technologist. His extensive industry experience includes roles with
Wimpey Minerals as an estimator/project manager, as manager/chief estimator at Warren
Paving and Materials and as IT business support manager for Coco Paving where he lead
training, development and implementation related to the Lafarge sale of its construction
