1. Welcome to Music Tech This is a training on the Music portion of the Digital Arts Festival.

5. Opening Acid Pro Step 1: Click on Start Step 2: Rollover All Programs Step 3: Rollover Sony Step 4: Rollover Acid Express Step 5: Click on Acid Express

6. Finding Loops Step 1: Double Click “My Computer” Step 2: Double Click “(C:)” Step 3: Double Click “Documents and Settings” Step 4: Double Click “users”

7. Finding Loops cont. Step 5: Double Click “My Documents” Step 6: Double Click “Acid” Step 7: Double Click “Loops” Step 8: Double Click on Collection of Choice

8. Listening to Loops Step 1:Click on Folder Step2: Click on Loop and Listen Tip: Green Bars will be jumping up and down if Loop is selected. Step 3: Click and drag Loops to Track List

9. Basic Tools Draw Tool: Draws Loop onto Track Erase Tool: Erases Loop from Track Multipurpose Slider: Adjusts Volume of Loop Play from start Play Pause Stop Back to the Beginning Go to the End

10. Render As… Step 1: Click on File Step 2: Click on Render As….

11. Render As… Step 1: Choose Kids work folder Tip: Have a music folder already set up Step 2: Type File Name: Area Code + Initials Step 3: Choose MP3 Audio File Step 4: Click Save
