1. In this video, Eminem is in a mental home and he is surrounded by people who are insane. This person is one of them. He eats invisible things. He isn’t mentioned in the lyrics but he is shown taking a big bite out of an invisible piece of food.He mentions in the lyrics that there are thousands of people who try to be him, and throughout the video there are clips of lookalikes being created in a factory going along a conveyer belt.Because the running theme of the video is about Eminem being in a mental hospital he is shown doing things that might be considered… mental. This shot is from a small clip where he dresses like a superhero, chases people and sits on their faces with his bare bum. This is the usual type of shot used in rap videos, a well-lit, brightly coloured person with a dark background, speaking down at the camera, as if he is talking right at you. In this shot you see Eminem (Dressed as a nurse) speaking into the microphone thing. He is asking, “Will the real slim shady, please stand up?”As you can see, everybody stands up except for the REAL slim shady (Eminem). This shows how many people want to be him, or in this case, think they are him.This shot shows that the nurse doesn’t exactly care about the patients because she isn’t even concentrating where she is putting the pills. This is probably why the people are still mad. This is also Eminem in disguise. This time he is at the Emmis and he is sat next to Brittney Spears (being the ditsy blonde she is). He really doesn’t like her and plays her to be a real moron.This is the last part of the video where he is being dragged away. So they must have found out who the real slim shady is.
