2. PRODUCTION
Pure Thanaka Powder is made from the barks of the
Indian woodapple tree (also known as Limonia
Acidissima). To break the bark off the trees the
native farmers use a special tool somewhat similar
to a spade. Using only as much bark as needed the
trees can naturally regenerate and continue to
flourish. After harvesting the bark gets cut into
smaller pieces and sundried. To clean the dried bark
pieces they are washed with cold water for several
hours and afterwards heated. The cleaned bark
pieces then get mixed with fresh water again to grind
them into a yellowish, liquid cream. At the end the
water gets separated from the cream leaving a fine,
golden powder. Pure Thanaka Powder!

FACIAL MASK
Mix Pure Thanaka Powder with the same amount of
water until it forms a cream. Apply the cream
Evenly over your cleaned face and wash it off with
lukewarm water.

Use a big powder brush to gently puff the Pure
Thanaka Powder over your face in circular motions.
CLEANSING
Mix Pure Thanaka Powder with water and gently
massage it over your skin to remove dirt particles,
excess sebum and light calluses.
