We are glad to announce our Call for papers for APrIR On-Line
Journal. As stated by our current President, Prof. Graciela
Castelli, having our writings published in specialised journals is
one of the requirements to be considered a teaching professional
and it also grants credits for advancing in our teaching career..
APrIR is one of the very few teachers' associations which offers a
journal, and a copy of every issue is sent to important libraries in
Argentina and abroad.
The Editorial Committee, headed by Prof. Nora Séculi, reminds us
of certain aspects to bear in mind in view of offering your production for publication.
Guidelines for submission of materials:
APrIR welcomes your submissions to APrIR’s Journal.
Topics for Submissions
· Ongoing research and results in the area of content and language
integrated learning
· Strategies which have enhanced learning and teaching in a foreign
language
· Bilingual education
· Processes and considerations in designing a foreign language
course
· Managing mixed-ability groups
· Approaches to content-based courses
· Innovations in the ELT classroom.

Selection Process
All submissions are first reviewed by the Editorial Board to verify that basic
requirements are met. If a submission does not pass this initial review, authors are
notified. If a submission passes this initial review, it then goes through a blind
review process conducted by external peer reviewers; neither the identity of the
2. author nor of the peer reviewers will be revealed in this process. The author will be
notified of the decision.
The APrIR editorial board reserves the right to make editorial changes in any
manuscript accepted for publication to enhance clarity or style. The author will be
consulted only if the editing has been substantial. By submitting to APrIR, you are
indicating that your work is original and is neither previously published nor in the
process of consideration for being published elsewhere.
The editorial board’s decisions are final. Submissions to APrIR cannot be returned to
the authors. Authors should keep a copy for themselves.
