THE SOUTH BEND TRIBUNE LAUNCHES MOBILE APPLICATION PROCESS FOR
JOBSEEKERS ON THE GO
ATLANTA, May 26, 2010 – AppVault LLC, a leading provider of response management software for both
print and online recruitment ads, has partnered with The South Bend Tribune, a daily news publication
serving the Michiana area, to provide a Newspaper Mobile Job Site and social media job search
technology for jobseekers.
Introduced on May 18th, 2011, The South Bend Tribune’s Newspaper Mobile Job Site powered by
AppVault is a new application resource for job seekers with mobile devices and web-enabled “smart
phones.” Jobseekers now have the ability to search and apply to open positions directly from their
mobile phones using resumes and skill profiles registered with The South Bend Tribune.
Jobseekers do not have to store their resume or profile on their mobile devices to apply, but can send
them directly to employers via m.sbtjobs.com, using their email address. In the months ahead,
jobseekers without web-enabled “smartphones” phones will also be able to send their resume and skill
profile to employers by texting their email address along with an adcode using AppVault’s SMS/Text
messaging service.
“As mobile becomes more and more integrated into our daily lives,” said Tom Daly, CEO of AppVault
“increasing numbers of job seekers are using their mobile devices to access their daily information and
more will increasingly use their smartphones to search for positions.”
“We are excited to make this new technology available to our employers,” said Mary Zenor, The South
Bend Tribune Classified Advertising Manager. “We want to continue to be a leader in offering our
jobseekers a simple way to continue their job search wherever they are, while also enhancing the value of
print & online employment ads.”
The technology offered through m.sbtjobs.com enables The South Bend Tribune to provide employment
technology that cannot be found on other local job sites serving the Michiana area. This technology
allows jobseekers an ease-of-use of applying to open positions at any time, in any location. Employers
have access to more candidates, and job seekers will have the opportunity to stay connected with
newest employment opportunities posted with The South Bend Tribune through more avenues.
