Overview:
I am a creative manager with international visual merchandising and retail experience. I have experience of luxury, mid-
premium and high street brands including; Bloomingdales, Harvey Nichols, Alexander McQueen, Jimmy Choo, Stella
McCartney, Vince, Rag & Bone, Banana Republic, Topshop and River Island.
I hold a BA Honors degree in Fashion from University of Manchester, UK and am currently studying with the Institute of
Leadership & Management (ILM).

Visual Merchandising Manager
Luxury Fashion – Al Tayer Retail
(Dubai based covering the GCC Market including 19 high end luxury and contemporary brands
in 43 locations)
May 2015 to current
• Worked closely with the Marketing, PR and Events teams to conceptualise, plan and
deliver events including Al Tayer AGM, Press, VIP and Customer evenings and Pop Up
Shops.
• Accountable for the design, creation and implementation of window and in store displays
in Priceless.
• Responsible for a team of 9 VMs across the GCC region, for mentoring and developing the
team to ensure a succession plan is in place.
• Responsible for translating the brands directives to store implementation to accommodate
localization and maximize opportunities within flagship locations and instilling excellent
brand standards and a consistent visual presentation throughout the region
• Experienced working with brand principals and projects teams on designing and planning
store opening, refurbishments and fixture updates – 22 of which have been in the last 6
months.
Key Achievements:
• Raised the international profile of Al Tayer Creative Services by participating in and
subsequently winning Best International Window for two consecutive years at the VM &
Display Awards in the UK
• Played an integral part in the development, launch and roll out of the companies CSR strategy
which has been adopted by Al Tayer Group and subsequently sat on the CSR committee for 3
years.
• Played a leading role in the Autism Awareness Campaign which engaged GEMS and Taleem
school children across Dubai and the local community leading to the production of the world’s
longest painting which measured 10.85k
• Guest lectured in Dubai Women’s Collage with 1st
year and 3rd
year Visual Communications
students. Their final project was to design Ramadan windows which were produced and
installed in Bloomingdales Dubai in June 2014.
• Created the first VM Induction and LEAD training program for all new joiners going through the
Retail Academy. The introduction of weekly knowledge sharing sessions within the design
team has seen significant improvement in individual presentation skills, as well as an
appreciation and understanding of each other diverse skills and expertise
• Was the only person to ever have won all four Al Tayer Values Awards for my contribution to
the company.
