The Country Club of Leawood installed a large 12-foot clock tower between the golf pro shop and pool area in May 2016. The numbers on the clock can be seen from the putting green and clubhouse patio. The document then discusses membership involvement in golf and social events over the summer season and encourages reviewing highlights from the season. It promotes an extended golf membership through March 2018 for new members to experience a full season.
2. The 4-sided Varden 12-Foot Clock Tower was installed on the
grass island between the Golf Proshop and the Pool on May
3, 2016. The numbers are large enough to be seen from the
putting area as well as from the clubhouse patio.
We are proud to have a membership so willing
to play a role and be involved when it comes to
Golf and Social events! This summer has been
very active and busy not only for our membership
but for our staff as well. Please take the time to
look through this publication and reflect back on
some of the summer season’s highlights.

3. Wow! Here it is, September already.
At this time of the year we promote an extended golf
contract running through March 31st, 2018. This allows
new members to experience a full golf season at CCL
before making any further commitments. If you have
friends and neighbors who have expressed an interest
in becoming golf members at CCL, now would be an
excellent time to join. Fall is a great time to play and
new members will have the opportunity to get involved
at the club and be ready for a full golf season of events
and tournaments come Springtime.
Don’t forget, we provide a $100 credit to your
account for referring a new golf member after their
activation.

Food
Beverage
Throughout the year our Food and Beverage
staff work very hard to plan, set up and over see
several events in order for our members to come
together and celebrate the various holidays as
well as enjoy each other’s company.
This year we have had several events, from a
New Year’s Eve dinner, an Easter Egg
Hunt and Petting Zoo, to Karaoke
Nights and the Kentucky Derby,
Horses and Roses Party. Not only
do we offer our members fun and
creative occasions but we include
special events throughout the year to
include families and younger children.
Our goal is to create a well rounded,
family-oriented community here
where parents and families can feel
welcomed and included.
Midway through the year we introduced our
new Food and Beverage Director, Marty Sullivan
(pictured right) who in the fall will assist with
the introduction of a new menu and wine list. He
came to us from Loch Lloyd Country Club and is
truly excited to work with our staff and members.
