1. Greetings! My name is Angie Chen and welcome to my All About Me! I am currently an ECE student at centennial
College. My major is ECE program and I plan to continue to further my education in Ryerson University after I
graduate from Centennial College. On this page, I will be continuously adding my new information and videos
throughout my journey as an ECE student. My short goal is getting the diploma of ECE in centennial college in
two years. My long term goal is moving on to Ryerson University to get my bachelor’s degree of kindergarten
teacher after graduating from centennial college.
I have two sons who mean the world to me and inspired me to continuously work with children as a career. Also, I
am determined to be a positive role model for my son. Even though life is tough and I have to look after my sons
meanwhile I attend to the college; I am not letting anything stop me from reaching my goals. I strongly believe that
successfully achieving my goals is basic on never giving up and persevering steadily. Actually, as a little girl, my
dream was to be a teacher because I love kids and I had reached my goal in China before I came to Canada. I had
been teaching for 10 years in my hometown elementary school before I quit.
2007, I moved to Canada, in order to make a living, I had to give up the opportunities to go to the college but I
never forgot learning my English as second language during my working period. My ambition of becoming an
excellent Early Childhood Educator, it always inspires me never stop. It is my goal, my dream as well. My dream
has come true under my efforts and never giving up. As a result I am now able to attend the college to achieve my
goal. My ultimate goal is to be a successful kindergarten teacher. I would like to give our children the best support
and guide by planning the well-designed environment depending on their cue and experiences to ensure all of them
are optimal development.
If I can touch or change at least one person's life that wills most definitely be truly gratifying. I believe that
regardless of your socio-economic background if you surround yourself around positive people you will want to do
better in life. Positive peer pressure is the best peer pressure to have! In class I am an attentive student who loves to
ask questions, share my knowledge, and assist my classmates. In my spare time, I love to listen to the music, catch
the movies and read the books I also enjoy working out and researching ways to live a more healthy life.
