Engineering Contractor: J-W Power Company (05/23/2016 – Present)
-Build and design gas compressor packages using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
-Determine sensors and transducers that are needed according to unit specification.
-Create flow diagrams for gas, oil, and liquid-cooling systems on compressor packages, using AutoCAD.
-Create models and drawing for pressure vessels according to ASME standards, using SolidWorks.
HVAC Technician: Facility Services, LeTourneau University (Summer 2013, Summer 2015)
-Maintained, repaired, and upgraded HVAC systems of LeTourneau University campuses.
-Replaced filters, fans, motors, sensors, and condensers for HVAC systems.
-Used building automations systems to manage facilities.

Co-op Experience
J-W Power Company Longview, TX (9/16/2013 – 5/1/2015)
-Created 3D models using Solid Works for new parts that were to be added to new and existing units, compiled bill
of materials (BOM) information including quantity and part number/description
-Revised existing 3D models and drawings for compressor package unit designs using SolidWorks and AutoCAD,
modify BOM quantities and parts used per as-built configuration
-Performed a month-long experiment on flange fasteners to determine the effects of using different lubrications to
obtain a specific required torque value
Technical Experience
Solids Modeling (extensive experience at LETU & JW Power Company)
-SolidWorks, AutoCAD, COMSOL
Computer Experience (extensive experience at LETU)
-Microsoft Office, MATLAB, Minitab, LabVIEW, C++
Fabrication Experience (classroom training at Guyer HS & LETU)
-Brazing, Soldering, SMAW & GMAW, FCAW, Oxy Fuel Cutting, Oxy Acetylene Welding, Lathe, Mill, Basic Hand tools
Project Experience
Senior Design: Wastewater Treatment (Fall 2014, Spring 2015)
-The aim of this project is to develop or improve an on-site H2S removal process for the oil and gas industry’s
flowback and produced water. My contribution to the team included, but is not limited to, fluid dynamics modeling,
phase-change experimentation with an H2S –water binary system, and the construction and experimentation of the
bench scale model(s).
Mechanisms and Kinematics (Spring 2014)
-Trebuchet design competition. 2nd place. The system was analyzed using kinematic concepts in MATLAB.
Engineering Design Methodology (Spring 2014)
-A design process that explored design options and customer needs/wants to improve a product (wall outlet).
