Slide 4: What’s in it for your audience? Explain why your topic is important or worth discussing: The return of the family structure is very important. Families can now find an interesting way to use devices to explore the outdoors and/or keep record of exercising activities. This is important because childhood obesity still exists. Video games and online activities play a part in this. Parents can discover that they don’t to compete with smart devices instead they can incorporate them in all activities in and outside of the home. Slide 5: Why should your audience listen to you? Explain your ethos (personal experience, expertise, and credibility): The audience should listen to my advice because I have worked in fitness media for 7 years. I have experienced what a full healthy lifestyle can offer. When children become dependent on devices for their entertainment they tend to block out other part of life because a smart device is what made them happy and that pattern can be hard to break if ever. I have worked with smart devices in production and demonstrated why smart devices should be incorporated.
