Re: Amy Melissa Dawson
This letter serves as a reference for the above.
I am thrilled to be able to provide a reference for Amy. She has been employed at Lakes Ranch for two
years and in this time has been in charge of our Bookings area as well as being our Horse Camp Director.
Being Bookings coordinator involves liaising with the public which Amy does very well with her excellent
communication skills. She is also required to be proficient on Excel, Word, Outlook and has shown real skill in
social media as she heads up that side for Lakes Ranch as well. She must maintain our Bookings schedule
and handle all customer requests as well as programming their time.
Amy has recently designed the new Lakes Ranch website which will be going live in a couple of months.
This will be a great asset to the business and has been designed with much thought, knowledge and design
capability. She is also excellent at setting up standard operating procedures.
Amy has served as Horse Camp Director during this time as well. This is a huge task organizing many
campers, staff, parents, helpers as well as horses. Amy leads her team with a well planned and executed
programme.
As a Director and staff member Amy shows humour, kindness, integrity and initiative. She continues to show
these attributes as well as many others, including respect, diligence, hard work and thoroughness even
through difficult and stressful times at Lakes Ranch.
I have always found Amy to be honest and reliable in all tasks given to her. She is punctual and able to be
trusted.
As a Director she has been involved in many other tasks: mentoring, counseling, team leading – being
directly involved in seeing children’s lives changed for good. Amy uses her wonderful sense of humour and
mature disposition to resolve conflict and she is able to help others achieve as well as build confidence. This
is very important in her current role and an attribute in times of pressure.
Amy also works extremely well as part of a team. Amy is a fantastic young woman and is admired and
respected by the youth and staff she works with and I thoroughly enjoy her company and tireless efforts to
produce awesome results for our camp. She will be an asset to any employer and others she comes across.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or queries regarding this.
Kindest regards
