5. WHY HAS IT GONE THIS FAR?
 Life Style Choices: stress,
lack of self awareness, little
devotion, or lack of
education can lead to stress
hormones that are
dangerous to health,
overindulging in food, and
lack of physical activity.
 Hereditary obesity: caused
from parents, do to their
eating habits and lifestyle.

 Corporations are tricking their
customers into eating this life-
threatening food, just so they
can make a profit.
 “Companies have encouraged
overeating and under-
exercising with their
aggressive advertising, and
large portion sizes.”
 Many restaurants including
McDonald’s are in progress of
making a big change
 fast food companies impact on
obesity means their help is
required to achieve prevention

7. SCHOOLS AND OBESITY
 “Schools have a lot to do with the influence on what kids eat/
so they could be very powerful in fighting obesity”
 What the schools serve, and what their peers eat around
them, could have a much bigger influence on what they eat at
home
 If Corporations made the switch to healthier food, that could
be bigger profit for them since many schools are trying to
become healthier
 “Many school systems are eliminating required physical
education.” If healthy food in schools is increasing, why
should that be a reason for physical activity to decrease?
