Jamboree is
A specialized preparation, coaching and training institute for
GMAT, GRE, SAT, TOEFL, IELTS and admissions abroad.
They offer a wide range of services like consulting, guidance,
counseling, information, practice tests, learning procedures,
notes, tips and study material.
Our basic objectives were
To leverage social media as the primary target audience for
their services were active on social media. The primary target
are individuals aged 17-26 in big cities.
We planned to spread awareness about their services, talk
to the prospective customers and engage with them, share
important and interesting events like MBA tours, study
abroad tours.

There are two sub-tabs i.e What is the

This tab was made to give students information
about the new GRE in a very detailed manner.

Jamboree Questions of the Day:
Every alternate day we post a question as a note as a practice questions for any of the
entrance exam and ask students to solve and answer on the note.
University Gyan:
It is a note created which gives a brief information about different universities that students
can apply to.
Jamboree Success Stories:
We post some of the high scores scored by our students in different exams.
Important Information:
We post important information regarding the University deadlines, Admission requirements,
Visa counseling etc. Posts announcing any new seminars, conferences and events related
to the entrance exams or Universities.

To improve the vocabulary of the students we also post word of the day (or week) with the
dictionary meaning and a video which relates to that term and helps understanding the
word better.

Targeted Advertising on Facebook
We had ads on Facebook on a regular basis to targeted audiences.
The ads were highly targeted based on what Jamboree’s service offering is.
For example :
First, ads were only shown in locations where Jamboree has a training center.
Then, GMAT related ads were shown only to audiences aged 21-24 (i.e. already graduates
looking to go abroad for masters).
And SAT related ads were shown to audiences aged 16-19, who are just about to complete
high school and are looking to study abroad for under graduation.

The Results so far
The numbers speak for themselves. In about 4 months (from April to Aug 2011), the fan base,
engagement and interactions have gone up by over 250%.
Another statistic (for which we cannot share an exact number due to confidentiality) is the
number of inquiries Jamboree got via the Contact Us form on Facebook. But we can tell
you that it’s over 250 inquiries in 4 months.
We also made sure online and offline activities are integrated, so all incoming Jamboree
students and prospective students are encouraged to join the Facebook page.
