3. 1954 – the stock was flooded –
Jens Terp-Nielsen applied for a loan in
the bank to save his business, but was
rejected. A new lawyer had come to town
and decided to act as surety for a loan.
To show his gratitude, Jens made him a
member of the board in Sækko, where he
stayed until his death in 2003

Sækko starts own-production of the absorbent
products Bambo baby diapers, large scale pads for
adults and sanitary towels. Furthermore, we source
incontinence pads from Holland. A new era has
begun and the company begins to focus more on

In 2003, the 2nd generation of owners,
Preben and Arne Terp-Nielsen decide
to change the company name from
