Course Overview
This course introduces students to the current theories of technology
enhanced language learning and teaching as well as the role of technology
in language acquisition. The students will be familiarized with the different
applications of technology in language learning and teaching. The course
has some practical aspects as it helps the students utilize technology in
language testing and research purposes.
Overall Course Objectives
1. To introduce students to the current theories of technology enhanced

Make-ups:
MAKE UPâs for missed exams are granted through official permission from the dean or the
chairman of the department only upon documented medical excuse for the specific days of
the exams.
Late submission
Late submission for assignments is not acceptable as most activities have other options.

Absence: The course contact hours will be 45 hours, 23 hours in class and 22 hours online.
You have to attend at least 80% of the classes (36 hour-attendance, no more than 9 hourabsence) 10% (4.5 hour-absence) can be exceptionally granted through official permission
from the dean or the chairman of the department only upon documented medical excuse.
Late-coming: classroom classes are 2 consecutive hour classes; late comers will be marked
absent for one hour.
Online attendance:
Online attendance will be calculated on the basis of tasks submission on the due time.
