Interests and Achievements
• Reading Matters Qualification – This was done over two years where I helped
children with low literacy skills with their reading – 2008 to 2010
• Student Mentor, Form representative, post 16 representative, ICT Subject
representative – Started as a student mentor then developed into a senior
mentor , the moved on to a post 16 representative and a subject representative
– 2007 to 2012
• Morocco Expedition - This took place in July 2012. It involved self-fundraising
£1,200 over a year and then going out to Morocco and spending time with local
people doing community work which included teaching school children, digging a
pathway up to a village in the mountains and clearing out a water tank. I was a
team leader for the project and had to make sure that health and safety was
administered throughout. - 2012
• Venture Matrix – In my first year of University I worked with children between
the ages of 8 and 12 and helped them to develop business plans and their
marketing skills – 2013
• Volunteering Activities - I have taken part in various activities including painting a
local children's centre, baking cakes for St Luke's Hospice and raising money for
the Archer Project for homeless people in Sheffield. I have also conducted some
market research for a lingerie company called Moonrise Lingerie

Experience in till operation and money handling. I also have experience in silver service in
executive suites and private boxes where I have served three and four course meals to

I worked behind the bar serving drinks and taking food orders, dealing with money on a

I worked as a Procurement Assistant for one year as part of my Placement Year for my

suppliers and recently became fully trained in the Despatch department.
