Pulitzer Prize for national reporting.
In 2013, she was named to the Forbes Most Powerful Women list. In

Arianna Huffington
Redefining Success: The Third Metric That
Can Benefit Your Bottom Line
During her keynote address, Huffington will challenge the audience to use a third metric,
beyond money and power, to define success. A metric that is based on well-being, health, our
ability to unplug, recharge, and renew ourselves and find joy in all aspects of our life, including
our job. Mounting evidence, both scientific and anecdotal, confirms that the practices that
make us less stressed also make us more productive, and Huffington provides clear examples
of how this is not only good for families and employees’ health, but also good for a company’s
bottom line.
Eloquent and engaging, Huffington shares how ‘leaning back’ makes for wiser leaders and how
ultimately, success is not just about money or position, but about living the life you want—not
just the life for which you settle.
14. Keynote Speakers
General Stan McChrystal
• Former Four-star General
• Author of the best selling
leadership book:
“My Share of the Task: A Memoir”
A four-star general, he is the former commander of U.S. and international
forces in Afghanistan and the former leader of Joint Special Operations
Command (JSOC). He is also the author of the best selling leadership book,
My Share of the Task: A Memoir. McChrystal, a former Green Beret, is
known for his candor, innovative leadership, and going the distance.
General McChrystal co-founded the McChrystal Group in January 2011. Its
mission is to deliver innovative leadership solutions to organizations, which
help them transform and succeed in challenging and dynamic
environments. To do this, the group teaches McChrystal's leadership
methodology CrossLead, whose principles and operational structure are
based on his military successes. CrossLead also addresses key leadership

teams, and sharing a clear vision.
15. Keynote Speakers
General Stan McChrystal
CrossLead: Lessons on Leadership from a
Warrior, Statesman, and Scholar.
In this dynamic presentation on leadership, General Stan McChrystal shows how
modern warfare, business, and politics demand no-nonsense leadership that is as
good at implementing change as talking about it. He reveals the power of culture,
communication, and relationships, sharing stories, experiences, and principals that
make his points.
McChrystal addresses such key leadership principles as transparency and inclusion,
leveraging the power of teams through shared ownership, evolutionary change
versus revolutionary change, relentless mission focus, and sharing a clear vision with
everyone who must execute against it.

Play@Work: Unleashing Growth
through Creativity and Innovation
By drawing from childhood lessons, Kevin Carroll reveals the relevance of play and
how we must continue to tap into those lessons for our future success.
An innovator who passionately inspires leaders to create sustainable change in their
own organizations, Carroll raises a variety of questions during the session including:
Are you continuing to strengthen the creative genius of your organization? Do you
have the necessary passion and creative endurance to deliver consistent and
amazing insight and business ingenuity? Why should an organization’s business
culture embrace the power of play even more in the 21st century? And how can a
business culture that incorporates “purposeful play” affect leadership, employee
quality of life, retention, and attract new talent?
