Army  Supercomputing  Research  Center  at  Aberdeen  Proving  
Ground  opens  new  facility  ADELPHI,  Md.  -­‐-­‐  The  U.S.  Army  Research  Laboratory  
Supercomputing  Research  Center  will  host  an  invitation-­‐only  open  house  at  9  a.m.,  June  10,  at  
Aberdeen  Proving  Ground,  Md.  
  AMC  band  member  chosen  to  become  an  Army  Band  Officer  
REDSTONE  ARSENAL,  Ala.  -­‐-­‐  A  U.S.  Army  Materiel  Command  band  member  was  chosen  to  join  
the  commissioned  officer  ranks.    Sgt.  Donald  “Taylor”  Criswell,  senior  instrumentalist,  was  
selected  to  attend  Officer  Candidate  School  to  become  a  commissioned  officer  after  
successfully  completing  the  audition  and  interview.  
Corn-­‐Feds:  Army  plans  to  power  plants  with  plants  PICATINNY  
ARSENAL,  N.J.  -­‐-­‐  Picatinny  has  formed  a  partnership  with  private  industry  to  develop  a  fuel  cell  
that  runs  off  ethanol,  which  could  potentially  power  the  Army's  ammunition  facilities  as  an  
environmentally  friendly  energy  source.  
  
  
  
CAAA  employee  receives  AMC's  2012  Dellamonica  award  CRANE,  
Ind.  -­‐-­‐  Crane  Army  Ammunition  Activity  employee  Randall  Burcham  received  the  Louis  
Dellamonica  Award  for  Outstanding  Army  Materiel  Command  Personnel  of  the  Year  for  2012.

Heftier  unmanned  ground  vehicle  offers  more  lifting,  hauling  
strength  DETROIT  ARSENAL,  Mich.  -­‐-­‐  A  small  car  can't  pull  a  heavy  trailer.  Sports  utility  
vehicles  don't  have  a  compact  car's  fuel  efficiency.  A  perfect,  one-­‐size-­‐fits-­‐all  vehicle  doesn't

between  the  4th  Battalion,  401st  Army  Field  Support  Brigade  and  the  2nd  Battalion,  23rd  
Infantry  Regiment,  the  Kandahar  Mobile  Redistribution  Property  Assistant  Team  executed  its

war  agent.  Robo-­‐Raven  glides,  soars  and  flaps  like  a  real  bird.
