A.I.type Announces a New ‘Free Float-N-Split Tablet Keyboard’ Release
Tel Aviv, Israel – May 02, 2012 – A.I.type announced the general availability of its first Free
‘Float-N-Split Tablet Keyboard’, the new standard for Android Tablet keyboards. In addition to an
accurate text-prediction capabilities, smart word completion and context-based auto-correction,
the new keyboard splits to allow thumb typing, and floats above the current application to save
screen space.
This new release, allows free full functional keyboard for 18 days of use, then the user may choose to
purchase the APK for $6, or remain with the free keyboard and its full functionality without prediction and
correction capabilities.
“We learned that most Tablet users like to hold the Tablet with both hands, and therefore prefer typing with
their thumbs.” Says Eitan Fitusi, A.I.type’s CEO – “So we split the keyboard into two parts to support such
typing. Moreover, to avoid capturing half of the screen with the keyboard, we made it transparently
“floating” above the current application.”
Just like A.I.type Keyboard Plus, the keyboard for Android Smartphones, the new Tablet keyboard is highly
customizable to match user desires and deliver the best possible user experience. It has dedicated numeric
keys and dedicated arrow keys - just like with full PC keyboards, cut/copy/paste/undo/redo functionality and
a resize button. You may drag both parts of the keyboard together or each part separately, and drop them
anywhere on the screen. The new version also allow you to drag and drop full floating transparent mini
keyboard anywhere on the screen, or resize it, in order to reveal important text underneath. To the standard
mode we've added middle keypad that appears once the keyboard splits, and changes its functionality to
numerical keypad, text utilities, punctuation/symbols, smileys (emoticons) and currencies according to user's
.preference

There are 4 new prediction languages - Dutch, Greek, Swedish, and Korean that allow Context-sensitive text
prediction and auto-correction in these languages. These were added to the existing supported languages
