Professional liability for construction clients can present particular challenges for insurance brokers.
Construction consultants may be required to sign documents that could extend their liabilities (such
as collateral warranties, novation agreements and third party rights clauses. In turn, consultants may
expect their brokers to review these legal documents to ensure that their insurance cover is not
threatened.

new, FREE legal advice service to all AIG UK Construction Professional Liability clients for the review
of such documents.
In addition, a legal advice helpline will also be provided to assist Insureds in their Professional
Indemnity policy queries relating to the agreement.
