ABOUT US
History of AIESEC
World War 2 (1939-1945)
One of the worst conflicts the world has ever seen
resulted in global devastation.
↓
The entire generation of young leaders was either
missing or dead.
↓
A new generation of young leaders would have to
emerge from the universities with the
responsibility of rebuilding their countries.
↓
In September 1946, students from 9 universities and
6 countries came together to build a new
cooperation and to prevent another world war
from occurring.
↓
Thus, AIESEC is formed!

This programme offers international internships (education, management or
technical) that contribute to your professional development for duration of 6
weeks to 18 months!

GLOBAL INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME (GIP)
Develop practical skills and soft skills by participating in social

CORPORATE RELATIONS
(CR)
A functional department connecting talents from all
around the world to the Malaysian corporates, with
the vision and mission of enhancing the local
workforce. We are also the catalyst of change for a
globalized workforce in the Malaysian corporate
world.
What do we do?
• We contact corporates in Malaysia and look into their
talent demands. We help them to grow and expand
by providing global talents from other parts of the
world. Besides, we serve as the host for these foreign
talents, by integrating them into our local culture.

backgrounds
• Malaysian visa

A functional department that acts as the treasurer and
secretary of the organization. We manage the finances
of the organization and are the spokesperson when
dealing with university authorities.

ABOUT US History of AIESEC World War 2 (1939-1945) One of the worst conflicts the world has ever seen resulted in global devastation. ↓ The entire generation of young leaders was either missing or dead. ↓ A new generation of young leaders would have to emerge from the universities with the responsibility of rebuilding their countries. ↓ In September 1946, students from 9 universities and 6 countries came together to build a new cooperation and to prevent another world war from occurring. ↓ Thus, AIESEC is formed! AIESEC in Number  Over 64 years of experience since 1948  Presented in 2, 100 Universities over 110 countries  Empowering 60, 000 Members in the network  Providing 16, 000 International Internships and 20, 000 Leadership Roles  Working with 4, 000 Partners  Organizing 470 Conferences annually  Connecting 945,000 Alumni

The most crucial way to begin your journey towards the path of leadership development Activate your leadership by taking up one of over 20,000 leadership roles in AIESEC to manage and lead the organization either at a local, national, regional or global scale TEAM MEMBER PROGRAMME (TMP) TEAM LEADER PROGRAMME (TLP) What can you gain? • Practical team experience • Hands-on experience in practical skills, such as project management, marketing, corporate relations and many more • Work with AIESEC members around the globe and experience different working cultures

What can you gain? • Intense learning environment • International exposure • Cross-cultural positive impact GLOBAL COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME (GCDP) This programme offers international internships (education, management or technical) that contribute to your professional development for duration of 6 weeks to 18 months! What can you gain? • International exposure that will enhance your competitiveness • Personal and professional development • Valuable working experience GLOBAL INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME (GIP) Develop practical skills and soft skills by participating in social community development projects abroad for a minimum of 6 weeks, and create an impact to the world

DEPARTMENTS YOUTH DEVELOPMENT (YD) MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS (MARCOMM) A functional department in AIESEC in charge of sending out local talents to other countries for various community projects. What do we do? • Exchange Recruitment, Review Board, Outgoing Preparation, Matching, Reintegration What can you learn in YD? • Product positioning and Sales skill • Interview assessment • Event management • People management • Creativity and Innovation A functional department that sets the AIESEC brand in the market and helps AIESEC programmes to penetrate the market. We support other departments in their processes. We also ensure and maintain the brand positioning of AIESEC. What do we do? • Brand awareness and management • Market segmentation • Designing and innovation • Relationship management with stakeholders What can you learn in MarComm? • Marketing strategies & analysis • Branding knowledge • Communication skills • Designing skills
  • 9. DEPARTMENTS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT (PD) A functional department that is in charge of sending out local talents for various internships. What do we do? • Exchange Recruitment, Outgoing Preparation, Interview, Matching, Reintegration What can you learn in PD? • Relationship management: Personal mentor in coaching exchange participants • Interview assessment: Knowledge regarding recruiting and evaluation of intern eligibility and qualifications • Event management: Practical experience to design and organize informational sessions • People management NON-CORPORATE RELATIONS (NCR) A functional department that looks into Exchange Participants from other countries who are interested to participate in community projects in Malaysia. What do we do? • Create and manage projects and experiences for exchange students • Deal with NGOs • Deal with international exchange participants What can you learn in NCR? • Project management skills • Leadership, team management and communication skills • Networking with international exchange participants

DEPARTMENTS CORPORATE RELATIONS (CR) A functional department connecting talents from all around the world to the Malaysian corporates, with the vision and mission of enhancing the local workforce. We are also the catalyst of change for a globalized workforce in the Malaysian corporate world. What do we do? • We contact corporates in Malaysia and look into their talent demands. We help them to grow and expand by providing global talents from other parts of the world. Besides, we serve as the host for these foreign talents, by integrating them into our local culture. What can you learn in CR? • Corporate negotiation skills • Selling and marketing strategies • Foreign cultures and backgrounds • Malaysian visa processes • Perseverance A functional department that acts as the treasurer and secretary of the organization. We manage the finances of the organization and are the spokesperson when dealing with university authorities. What do we do? • Financial management • Reimbursement • Project budgeting • Maintaining relationship with university authorities What can you learn in FA? • Budgeting skills • Relationship management FINANCE & ADMINISTRATION (FA)
