1. The significance of my audience
feedback!
Throughout the course I have been receiving audience feedback in order to
make decisions of my own for my work and also how to make improvements. I
have found this extremely helpful as I could find out the needs of my audience
and put them into my project.
2. I began by creating a brainstorm for my target audience- music genre, age,
gender, hobbies and the artists that have inspired my song idea. This was
helpful because I felt I had a path for the rest of my project.
3. I then created an audience questionairre in which I got a tally chart from. I asked
questions to do with the type of expectations people have for music videos,
digipaks and adverts. This helped me to make further decisions. I also
discovered that the most popular genre of music was indie so I took this genre
to use as my genre.
4. This is the tally chart I created from the questionairre results. You can
see how I have used some of the results to make decisions such as
the genre and locations in the video.
5. I then created a “goanimate”. I firstly collected some feedback from my peers for
my music video and I then put the feedback I received to each animation. This
was helpful because I could then make changes to anything that needed to be
worked on.
6. I collected feedback using post it notes as it was a quick and
simple way to get feedback for my digipak and magazine advert
because I could leave them out on the desk so people could write
some feedback for me. I chose the best feedback I was given and
took pictures of the post its. I found this really useful as I could
make the necessary changes.
