decide whether or not to release the defendant
• The bond interview process was conducted onsite at various police lock-ups
• The bond interview process had much redundancy behind it, multiple forms asking
for the same information and verification was difficult
• Laptops and voice recognition were tested and failed because of limited space and
noise level
• Adaptation of digital pens allowed reduction of data entry, readability of
information and content reusability

• There was no significant change in workflow
• Recipients of the report favored the clarity and the efficiency in processing the case
• Judges and Lawyers preferred the new method
• The results among the bond officers was mixed because they did not want to change
they way they work in ANY manner. In particular they mentioned not being able to
use White-Out on mistakes as a problem
• The percentage of errors made was reduced
