A workshop discussed how to scaffold the use of ePortfolios at institutions. Participants were asked to conceptualize an approach by considering who would be involved, what the ePortfolio work would entail, when and for how long it would take place, the reasons for it, and how it would be implemented. They used techniques like listing, flowcharts and mindmaps to develop their ideas, which they then summarized to present to the group. The workshop was inspired by a brainstorming method that involves 3 minutes of preparation, 12 minutes of conceptualizing, and 3 minutes of presenting.
