1. The reason I had chosen to study in National Central University is because there is
Earth Science colleage in it. The department of Earth Sciences of NCU is quite
famous not only in Taiwan but also in foreign countries. Compared with other
universities such as National Tsinghua University and National Chiao Tung
University, the overall academic development of NCU is more evenly since it is one
of the best of the top universities in Taiwan itself.
The campus of NCU is a beautiful area full of cultural atmosphere and academic
elegance, but the campus is located at the suburban areas of Chungli. It takes us a
distance to arrive the downtown. The midnight snack street might be the most
prosperous place around the campus. Compared to Chung Yuan Christian University,
the entertainment near NCU seem to be a little more monotonous.
Although I was only a student now, I hope that I can learn a lot of knowledge during
these four years. Not only the major courses of the department, I could also learn
many different things through the general education classes, physical education and
elective course. More importantly, there are so many good professors and scholars in
NCU, I can ask them to have a long talk with me, drawing their ideas and knowledge
to make my own way of future become better.
