Tango: It definitelydoestake two to tango and this dance also belongsto the American Style
category. Like all ballroom dancers, the male has to lead the female partner.The choreography of this
dance is what sets it apart from otherstyles,varying betweenthe International Standard, and that
which is American.
2. Waltz:The waltz is danced to melodic,slowmusic and is an equallybeautiful dance form. The waltz is

to the American Style.

Viennese Waltz:Thisstyle of ballroomdance is basedon the original form ofthe waltz. There are
many versionsof this style of dance. It originatedin the latter period ofthe 18th century.
3. Quickstep:This style belongsto the International Style ofBallroom dancing which originatedin the
1920s. This dance includesmanysteps with quickmomentum. As seeninthe move 'Dance WithMe',
the Foxtrot isboth fun, and a dance that requiressynchronicity.
Cha-Cha-Cha:The cha-cha-cha simplycalledthe cha-cha is a type of Latin-Americandance which is
very rhythmic in itsappeal. This dance isenergeticwith slowmovementsas well.
4. Rumba: Thissensual dance is based on slowhip movement.Rumba belongs to the International
Standard as well as the American style.This dance is known for the beauty of the steps that are

danced as per the ballroomstyle and the traditional style samba choreography.

Paso Doble:This livelydance isalso an International Latin dance style with lessemphasison hip
movement.The basic structure ofthis Latin dance is based on the sounds and the movementsusedin
Spanish bullfights.
